Spread the word so there won't be anymore innocent kpop fans throwing their money away. Update: 7/15/2009 OK people there's no way we can go to the authorities over this since fansubbing isn't exactly legal either. True we're not making money doing this so not as bad as her trying to make an immoral profit on copyrighted works, but still bringing in the authories and calling their attention to our team or other kpop fansub teams wouldn't be a good thing. From now on we're going to put in our videos lines like "THIS IS A FREE FANSUB. NOT FOR SALE". Other than that, there's really not much we can do. We're violating copyright just by making the videos freely available. But we're doing it for the love of bb and vips, not to make money, so to us that's ok. But in the eyes of the law we're not exactly innocent. So this topic will be closed but everyone just spread the word to your friends to not buy videos from this mediagirl person because they can get them for free online. So yes, as unfortunate as it is, there are lowlifes out there who try to profit off the work that dedicated fans do for free by packaging fansubs and selling them online. I've seen this type of thing on eBaby with Anime and K-Drama. Now some creep set up a website and is selling kpop fansubs. Nard pm'ed me about this after receiving the following message from a livejournal user. So we need to investigate this and see if our subbed videos are being sold illegally for profit. If we find out that they are, we'll go over to that website and demand they stop selling our subs. I want to post this to her in that guestbook on the website. Quote: It's illegal to sell copies of videos that you don't own the copyright to and I doubt you own the copyright to any kpop videos. I hope none of those videos u are illegally selling are subbed by fansub teams because profitting off the work that dedicated fans do for FREE is just plain WRONG! WTF... okay we gotta do something about this whether our video's are there or not.. it's just not right, and we're going to try to do what we can. WE HAVE TO DO SOMETHING... it's driving me crazy... 1 even if... like they subbed them they still can't sell vids cuz they aren't there's its like company's what should we do?

Deleted User	I can't believe this... This is just as bad, if not worse, than those people who bootleg privately subbed anime. To think that some people can PROFIT off of other people's hard work and still be able to sleep at night. Completely illegal and immoral. Pisses me off. >.> I completely advocate spamming them to death until they stop this travesty.

We could also try that since selling videos which do not legally belong to her is illegal. The videos she's seeling with the subs, are they like DVD copy and legally purchased? Or just downloaded from the internet and subbed? I'm sorry, but you'd have to be a fool to purchase anything from someone like her...
