Posts: 7 Group: Members Member #705 Joined: Jul 31, 2008	I wanna apply for Thai translator but my grammar is quite error when translate Thai to English. But no problem for translate English to Thai language. Actually I can read Hangul and understand just a little bit Korean. So maybe I can apply as typesetter but I never experience about it before. I only experience for subbing and timing. Hmm still confuse but I think I'll apply soon ^^ Edited by lanladay, Oct 20 2008, 09:31 PM.

We have grammar checkers, editors, and then a final qc to look over the translation to get it as error free as possible before all is said and done. If you'd send in an example of something you translated into English when you apply we can let you know for sure if you'll be an asset to our team even without perfect grammar. If you join, we also have practices and tutorials available for typesetting and you could join now as translator (if approved) and learn about typesetting at your leisure and then send in a practice to an Admin for approval when you're ready to take the job on. We do need timers also, however soon we will be moving to using only Aegisub for timing. If you don't know how to use Aeisub for timing, this is something you could learn after you join too. We have tutorials and help threads to help our subbers get better at the jobs they have and those they want to do. =] Edited by DAEnaya, Oct 20 2008, 11:26 PM.
