Rules
- Stop and think if this clip would get subbed by another group of subbers on youtube or elsewhere. To avoid double work we focus on subbing Big Bang clips that are not likely to be subbed by others.
- Search youtube to make sure the clip wasn't already subbed.
- Include a streaming link or download link to a decent quality of the clip you want us to sub. The picture quality of the clip has to be relatively clear. If the quality is already low, converting the video into avi may lower it even more and it would become unusable for subs. Video resolution cannot be lower than 512x384. The audio quality needs to be good also so that our translators will be able to hear the speakers clearly to give good translations.
- NO HOTLINKING ALLOWED ON THIS FORUM. For posting any download links on this forum do not post download links unless they've been uploaded by you or unless they are clubbox links. What you can do is post the link to the website/live journal/forum post where we can go download it. Or you can re-upload the video to post it, but do not steal anyone else's links.
- Include credit for the video you provide for download, so we know who to credit for the original video if we use it. If you don't provide a download link, you don't have to include any credit.
- Label your topic titles as [Req] & include the title and date of the video in the topic title.
- Copy and paste the form below for your request post.
Tip: If you include a download link to a good quality video, it's more likely your request will be fulfilled.
IMPORTANT NOTE 1:
Use your requests wisely. People who excessively start request topics will be banned from posting in the Requests section.
IMPORTANT NOTE 2:
Do not request us to sub any new Big Bang variety shows. We will only consider accepting requests for a variety show clip that is at least 3 months old and still has no subtitles. Too often it's happened where we start a new variety show project only to find out a few days later that someone else has subbed it. It's quite frustrating to say the least so to avoid further wasting the effort of our Translators and RAW Providers, we will no longer be taking requests for new Big Bang variety shows, so don't bother requesting or asking about them. We'd rather focus our resources on Big Bang clips that aren't likely to get subbed by others.
IMPORTANT NOTE 3:
Please be aware that currently we do not have any Japanese translators on our team so we cannot fulfill any requests for Big Bang's Japanese clips. We have Korean, Thai, and Chinese translators, but none for Japanese.
