Hello, I'm rudo, theREALiVIPSUBS' member. You guys might know our way of romanizing is different from others' way(s). But it's time for us to listen to your opinion(s). I've made romanizations as the lyrics are pronounced. For example, 무궁화 꽃이 피었습니다 is "moo goong hwah kkoh chee pee uht sseum nee dah" in our way, because "무궁화 꽃이 피었습니다" is pronounced as "무궁화 꼬치 피얻씀니다." But in others' way, it's "mugunghwa kkochi pieotseumnida." Well, what I really want to say is this: We have a problem with Korean affricates, ㅈ, ㅉ and ㅊ. When I saw the Pronunciation Rule, I found this: ㅈ + ㅕ, ㅑ, ㅛ, ㅠ >> pronounced as "저, 자, 조, 주" ㅉ + ㅕ, ㅑ, ㅛ, ㅠ >> pronounced as "쩌, 짜, 쪼, 쭈" ㅊ + ㅕ, ㅑ, ㅛ, ㅠ >> pronounced as "처, 차, 초, 추" But ChoiTOPisVIP said it would be confusing if we use "joh" for "죠." Even though "죠" should be pronounced as "조"(joh) in Korean, 죠 is different from 조 considering the formality, so this member wants us to use "jyoh." Because I've made romanizations thinking only about pronunciation, you guys can just pronounce them in our recent music videos as you see. ChoiTOPisVIP and I discussed it and decided to make this poll. There are three choices. Which one do you prefer about 죠's romanized form? Or regardless of the poll, if you have a question about our romanizations, please leave it in this topic. |

I prefer the way it's written myself. It's the way I'm learning it. |

When pronounce it one by one, it's easy to say 죠 jyo.. But when you sing @ noraebang.. for example my situation (always).. I pronounce it as 죠 jo instead of jyo !
